0800 Your safari driver guide will pick you up for transfer to the famous Masai Mara game reserve.

The drive will take via Great Rift Valley Observation Point where you will have a brief stopover for a photo session.   After the stop, descend the floor of the escarpment heading to the Mara.

Masai Mara

The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion’s roar, a cheetah making a kill, and the big elephant herds are all very fascinating events.

You will also meet the Maasai who are the inhabitants of this reserve and are proud and largely aloof tribes who have held on to their customs and traditions for hundreds of years.

1300 Arrive into Sentrim Mara Camp for check in then late lunch.1600        Afternoon game drive in the plain of Masai Mara inch of wildlife;  All members of the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, African elephant, African buffalo, and Black Rhinoceros) are found in the Mara.   On lucky day, you can spot all of them.   Ensure to carry a good Camera with a wide zoom as game is amazing! Other species of animal includes Hippopotami and Nile crocodiles are found in large groups in the Mara and Talek rivers., hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, gazelles, Zebras, giraffe  and bat-eared foxes can also be found in the reserve.  Bird species are also in plenty..

DAY 03:     FULL DAY IN MASAI MARA 

0600 Wake up to another delightful morning in the bush.

0630 Depart for an early morning game drive. Early morning are lovely moments to see the nocturnal animals trying to get the last catches before they go to sleep.

0830 Return to the tented camp for buffet breakfast.    Rest of the morning spend at leisure

0730 Your safari driver guide will pick you up for transfer to Lake Elementaita/Lake Nakuru in the Rift Valley.

 

1330 Arrive at Sentrim Lake Elementaita Lodge for check in then l lunch.

 

1500 After lunch depart for an afternoon game in the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park.

Dinner and thereafter overnight at your lodge.

The Lake Nakuru National Park is world renowned for its large population of the pink flamingos, which sometimes number over a million. The park is also home to the white rhino, the rare black rhino among other wild animals. You are almost certain to see the most elusive of the cat’s family, the leopard.
